I was so excited when Mallory + Cody reached out to me because I’ve known them for so long! Keep reading to see this gorgeous couple’s golden hour engagement session.

I knew Mallory and Cody from college! Mallory was in the same sorority as me and Cody was in the same fraternity that my husband was in. So it was really fun to be able to shoot their engagement session because I’ve known them for so long!

Embracing City Street Style

When they first reached out to me they told me they wanted city/street style photos for their engagement session. So we decided to do it in Downtown Birmingham, Alabama! The laidback cityscape ended up being the perfect backdrop to capture the soon-to-be-married couple! And Mallory’s outfit made the perfect addition!

Golden Hour Magic

Fortunately, the sunset came at such a perfect time – we were able to capture the majority of the shoot at golden hour. The city is such an awesome and unique backdrop to document your engagement, especially just before and right after sunrise and sunset.
