As your photographer, my main goal is to make sure that you not only have the most memorable wedding experience from beginning to end, but that you also get those timeless images that make you say “Wow, I can’t believe that’s actually me!” no matter how many times you see them. I’m passionate about helping you get rid of the stress around planning a wedding that doesn’t feel like you, so you can plan your perfect day instead.
Hey, I’m Katie!
I LOVED my big wedding, and had a blast celebrating with all of our friends and family! But looking back now, there were so many things that I spent time and money on throughout the process that didn't really feel like “us”, but I felt pressured to do because of traditions or other people’s opinions.
After that I knew that there had to be other couples out there struggling like I did to plan a wedding that genuinely felt like them. So now here we are! I’ve spent the last few years doing everything that I can to help other couples have their dream wedding that feels like them!
Don’t get me wrong
Six months before our wedding day, my now husband, Will and I traveled to the Andes mountains in Bolivia for a medical mission trip. One morning, we headed to watch the sunrise on a mountain top the locals praised. When the sun rose above the mountain, I knew that was the place I wanted to begin our lives together. It was somewhere free of distractions and material things—a place where we could just be ourselves and commit to one another. It felt like “us”. Unfortunately due to some altitude sickness we weren’t able to elope during that trip, but that moment changed my life forever. When we returned home and I continued planning my own traditional wedding I kept thinking that there had to be another way.
- Why did the process have to feel so overwhelming?
- Why was I spending time on little things that I didn't really care about?
- Why was I so relieved when the wedding was over?
Above all else, the most important things in my life are Jesus, my husband, my family, photography, school, and traveling.
Get to know me
I completed the Athens Classic Marathon in Greece and plan to run a marathon on all seven continents.

I have a bachelors degree in mathematics, Masters degree in Psychology, and I’m currently a Ph.D. student at USC.

I am addicted to tea, especially matcha and earl grey. I have a cup (or a few haha) of tea with milk every day.
