This greenhouse wedding took place in downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was such a beautiful venue for an Ohio wedding! Keep reading for all the unique ideas this couple had to make their wedding day extra-special!
This wedding was at this dreamy greenhouse venue at Jorgen Farms in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Andi and Adam had been dating for over ten years, so it was such an extra-special day for them. They were so excited to get married and have all of their loved ones around them.
Getting Ready
Andi and Adam got ready at the AC Columbus Downtown hotel, which had a beautiful view of downtown Columbus. After the bride and her bridesmaids got ready, we took some fun photos on the balcony of the hotel.
First Look
The couple wanted to do a first look and exchange personal vows in a private setting, so we decided to do photos of that in the greenhouse where their ceremony would take place. The greenhouse had beautiful ivy strung up all around the space (including the ceiling) and cafe lights. The greenery and cafe lights combined with all the natural light that came in made for a FANTASTIC space for the ceremony.
This venue is ideal because it is covered but also has amazing natural lighting, so it would totally be perfect for any season and any weather!
The Ceremony
After their first look and private vows, they had their ceremony with their guests – which included their cute pup!
Pro tip: nothing is off-limits for your big day! If you want to include your fur babies, let’s figure out a way to incorporate them!
The Reception
After the ceremony, they had a cocktail hour and a reception dinner. This couple had a sweet idea of using a phone to record voice messages as a “guest book.” This was such a cool way for the couple to remember their wedding day as they could go back and listen to their loved ones’ voices giving them sweet messages on their special day.
Andi and Adam also recorded messages to each other and left messages for their future selves. The phone was such a unique way to document the day!
