Avery and Molly were such a fun couple to work with! Avery and I were friends in college so it was extra fun when he and Mollie reached out to me when they got engaged.

Getting Ready and Pre-Elopement Adventure Session:

From the beginning they knew they wanted to have an intimate winter elopement. After brainstorming some ideas they decided on Grand Teton National Park in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. They invited a few of their closest friends, and had one of their best friends officiate their ceremony. To turn their wedding day into a full experience, Avery and Molly rented a really cute Airbnb where they were able to hang out and got ready on the wedding day as well as the remainder of the week. The day before their wedding, Mollie, Avery, and I meet up hiked to a beautiful lake. Since the lake was a decent hike from the parking lot, we knew we weren’t going to be able to visit it on their wedding day, so we decided to explore the area the day before for a fun pre-wedding experience and a casual couple adventure session.

Elopement Ceremony in Grand Teton National Park

On the wedding day, we woke up at sunrise and met at the location in Grand Teton National Park for their ceremony. It ended up being so cold and windy and all the views of the mountains were obstructed because of the weather but they really pushed through and were so excited for their big day. We layered a bunch of jackets and hand warmers and braved the cold for a stunning the winter elopement ceremony.

Post-Elopement Coffee and Brunch

After the ceremony they decided leave Grand Teton National Park and head to Cowboy Coffee Co. (a local coffee shop) in Jackson Hole. At the coffeeshop everyone warmed up and Mollie changed into a more casual dress. The coffee shop gave such cozy vibes and it was such an intimate and unique post-ceremony activity! After hanging out at the coffee shop, everyone went into town to get brunch at a local brewery.

Couple Portraits and Afterparty

When brunch ended, we headed back to their Airbnb. On the drive back to the Airbnb outside Jackson Hole, the weather cleared up enough to see the mountains so we decided to stop and take a few more couple portraits! After taking some portraits, they went back to the Airbnb and had dinner with their friends and had some s’mores and just hung out to celebrate their wedding day. Avery and Mollie stayed in Wyoming a few more days after their wedding to continue celebrating with all their friends and explore more of Grand Teton National Park!

Despite the weather, Avery and Molly had a beautiful winter wedding day and and unforgettable weekend!
