This Temecula, California wedding at Whispering Oaks Terrace was so beautiful to photograph! I had the opportunity to shoot every stage of this couple’s relationship from the proposal to the wedding. Keep reading for the stunning photos from this California wedding!
I feel so honored that I got to document all the stages of this couple’s relationship! Josue originally reached out to me a while back for their proposal, so I flew out to California to shoot it. Then, I shoot their engagement session, and now I was able to document their wedding as well! It was so sweet to photograph this couple all the way through their wedding. Sarah and Josue love to spend time in nature together, learn to cook different types of meals, and visit different Catholic churches.
Getting Ready
Sarah got ready with her bridesmaids at a house that she rented in Temecula, and Josue had another house to get ready at with his groomsmen. Josue’s brothers bought him an engraved pocket watch for the big day. They engraved Sarah and Josue’s names on it and even set the time to the time of the ceremony. It was such a special gift!
Wedding Ceremony
They had a traditional Catholic ceremony at a church in Temecula. Sarah and Josue did not do a first look, so his first time seeing her was when she walked down the aisle of the church. It was such a special moment for them as she walked down the aisle! The sacrament at the ceremony was one of the most important things about their wedding day. It was also important for them to have their friends and family there with them throughout the day!
The Reception at Whispering Oaks Terrace in Temecula, California
After the ceremony, they were able to go out and take some beautiful golden hour photos. The vineyard at the reception venue was stunning! All of the golden greens and browns of the vineyard made for a fantastic backdrop for the just-married couple. They had a taco truck for their reception food and it was so yummy! Their cake was so cute, and so were their cake-cutting photos! Sarah ended up throwing a denim jacket over her dress mid-reception for a second look.
The Exit
For their grand exit, they had everyone turn on their cellphone lights to make a fun departure for them. It was such a fun and unique way to send the couple off!
