Mikaela and Austen reached out to me because they wanted to do an adventure couples session in Snow Canyon, Utah. They chose Snow Canyon because it was a really special place for them and they loved the stunning red rock views. They wanted to do the bridal session before the wedding so that they could use the photos as decoration during their wedding reception.
Snow Canyon is a perfect place because it is super accessible. There is a parking lot close to the location so it’s great because it does not require extensive hiking, while still having that remote feeling! It is also easy to apply for a permit to take photos there. The landscape at Snow Canyon also has such a variety of looks and locations. There are slot canyons, red rocks, white rocks, and sand dunes. It’s located in St. George, Utah. St. George is such a nice location because it’s close to Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.
Adventure bridal sessions are great for couples who are wanting to do a more traditional ceremony but want those elopement-style photos. You could use the photos for your wedding decorations, reception decorations, save-the-dates, or invitations!
