This stunning New Years Eve wedding took place in downtown Mobile, Alabama. The wedding day took place at The Ezell House in downtown Mobile which is a really fun, unique, and historical space. It was the perfect spot for this New Years Eve wedding!
Getting Ready
One of the best things about The Ezell House is the variety of photo locations. In the first floor of the house there are large windows which let in lots of natural light for those perfect timeless and classic getting ready photos. On the other hand, the upstairs library with its darker colors and more intimate vibe makes the perfect backdrop for those vintage vibey getting ready photos.
The Wedding
Maggie and Josh were the ultimate picture of classy meets eclectic. From their wedding attire to the decor, this wedding gallery is filled with so many awesome colors, textures, and moments. Maggie wore a wedding dress that was completely covered in sparkles and also had sparkle earrings. Josh wore a blue suit had had this really unique tie and a colorful boutonniere. They decided on an evening ceremony in the courtyard under the string lights with a gorgeous floral backdrop. It was so beautiful! P.S. Check out these fun flash wedding portraits that we took after the ceremony in the library upstairs.
The Decor
Undoubtably, Tyler Matthew Creations, who is also was Maggie’s best friend and best man, did an outstanding job with all of the wedding decorations, leaving a lasting impression on everyone! 🤩 However, among all the remarkable features of their wedding, the cake stood out as one of my favorites. It was impressive to learn that the cake topper was made by one of Maggie’s childhood friends, while Maggie herself decorated the cake on the morning of the wedding. This heartfelt approach to every aspect of their wedding decor made it all the more special for the couple! To add to the occasion’s charm, the New Year’s Eve theme was infused into the decor with lots of fun colors, textures, florals, sparkles, balloons, and glasses.
New Years Eve Reception
The reception began after the ceremony with a cocktail hour and then continued on through the New Year. When the clock struck 12:00 AM, the couple rang in the new year with a kiss – complete with confetti cannons and all among all their closest friends and family!
