This gorgeous Glacier National Park spring elopement was so fun to photograph and experience! Keep reading to see this medical school couple’s intimate adventure elopement!
Caleb and Sheridan are both third year medical students. Caleb is currently a medical student at UAB with my husband, Will, and Sheridan is currently a medical student at a medical school nearby in Auburn.
Since they are both in medical school, their schedules were super busy but they knew they wanted to get married, so we planned to have their ceremony after they finished Step 1 (aka a really big test in medical school). So, one week after they both took Step 1, they flew out to Montana and Glacier National Park for their elopement ceremony! They brought along both sets of their parents for their intimate elopement. (P.S. It was an extra special ceremony for me because my husband was actually the officiant!)
First look in Glacier National Park
On the day of the wedding, we woke up at sunrise and met up at a spot overlooking the lake so they could have a first look. It was such a quiet and serene moment for them and the perfect spot to have a first look. After that, we walked around and took some couple portraits and let them soak in the first moments of their wedding day.
Elopement ceremony
A little while later, we headed to a different location in Glacier National Park and did the ceremony on the edge of the lake. The weather was perfect, and the ceremony was short and sweet! It was such a beautiful, intimate moment with the most incredible views of the mountains and lake!
Post-ceremony
After the ceremony, we met back up at the Airbnb and they had food and cake to celebrate. Their parents had sweet speeches prepared and they all just relaxed and spent time together. After the parents left, Caleb and Sheridan hung out, warmed up, and touched up for some more photos. While they were touching up, I took some stunning detail photos of the dress, rings, and flowers! After that, we met back up at the park at sunset and got to explore some different areas. They had their first dance right before the sunset and ended their long day of celebrating by cracking open some beers and a doing a fun little cheers!
