Hannah and Miles wanted to do their engagement session in Santa Barbara, California. Santa Barbara is a charming town located between LA and Big Sur. The architecture around the city is Spanish-inspired; with beautiful town halls and buildings around the area! The scenery has lots of arches, tiles, and saturated blues and reds. It such a fun and beautiful place to take photos in! P.S. It is also such a great place for elopements because you have the gorgeous architecture as well as the beach close-by.
We started Hannah and Miles’ engagement session at the city hall and took some photos there. Then, we headed down to the beaches for some photos that turned out to be so romantic and had all the beach vibes! Keep scrolling for the gorgeous photos from this shoot.
Pro-Tip: Engagement sessions are great because it gives you and your photographer a chance to meet before the wedding day, and get comfortable in front of the camera. Hannah and Miles are a great example of this! I recently photographed their wedding too which was so beautiful, and flowed so smoothly because we had already established a connection before hand. They were used to my shooting and posing style which helped them feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Because of that we were able to effortlessly get sweet and authentic candid images on their wedding day!
