Intimate Southern California Wedding | Amanda + Kevin

Like many couples in 2020, Amanda and Kevin’s wedding plans were drastically changed by COVID-19. Keep reading for the new plans they settled on and how they had the best of both worlds for their Southern California wedding!

Amanda and Kevin went back and forth between a private elopement with just the two of them, and an intimate wedding with their closest family and friends. They eventually settled on a combo of the two, creating a unique and fun wedding day for all!

They started the day getting ready at the hotel where their ceremony would be held.

Amanda had a hair and makeup artist on location and incorporated sweet details like a custom perfume and photos of the couple’s travels during their relationship.

The couple held their ceremony in a lovely garden area at the hotel with ten of their closest family members and friends.

Afterwards, they enjoyed a dessert reception with champagne toasts. The wedding cake had tacos on it and fit their personality so perfectly!

After the reception, Amanda and Kevin said goodbye to their guests and spent the rest of the day by themselves. We loaded up the car and headed to the beach for the most beautiful sunset.

The couple celebrated with a champagne toast, a sweet dance, and spent the next few hours soaking up the day and their new commitment to each other.

Next, the couple decided to go to their favorite fast food restaurant – In N Out Burger – for a quick bite! They enjoyed burgers and drinks in their wedding attire.

It was a fun and perfect way to end the day with bellies and hearts full! Their wedding day was fun, relaxing, and the best of both worlds as they spent time with their loved ones and also got to enjoy one another as a newly married couple.
