Malibu State Park was a perfect spot for this couples session! They didn’t want a beach scene or mountain scene, but they still wanted a nature background so we decided on this beautiful park as a great alternative. It had amazing open fields, tall grass, and pretty trees, and is usually not very busy! It can tend to get really hot at certain times of the year, but you can usually plan around that. It’s a great location for a family session, couple session, or engagement session near Malibu. The park is also super easy to get to if you’re already in the southern California/Los Angeles area.
Couple sessions are great because you don’t have to have a big event or anything like that to go out and take some photos to document your love! They are great for anniversary gifts, birthday gifts, or whenever you feel like you want to document a certain stage of your life. P.S. The all black outfits compliment this setting very well! The combination of the light surroundings with the dark outfits create a very sophisticated, timeless, and elegant feel to the images! It’s always important to consider the backdrop of the images when selecting your outfits!
