One of my favorite parts about Big Sur is the sunset over the ocean. Since it’s on the West Coast, the sunset is always beautiful! There’s nothing like the red and pink hues of the sky contrasting with the beautiful blue ocean.
The Redwoods are the perfect place to have an intimate ceremony since it’s not as crowded as the coast. *Plus, in the summer if it’s hot the trees can provide some shade and relief from the sun!*
After having an intimate ceremony in the woods its just a short drive to the coast where you can have a picnic and watch the sun set over the water!
Not only is Big Sur filled with so many beautiful locations, but it’s also easily accessible! It’s close to San Francisco and several other Northern California cities, so you can easily fly in and make a short trip down to Big Sur for your elopement day.
