This Southern California golf course wedding was so much fun to document! Scroll down to read about the cute detail Lexi and Daniel incorporated into their first dance!
This wedding took place at the Los Verdes golf course in Southern California. I shot Lexi and Daniel’s engagement session at the Sunset Cliffs in San Diego (click on the link to check out their engagement photos), so I really enjoyed the opportunity to get to document their big day too! They are the sweetest couple and it was so fun being able to shoot them again.
Getting Ready
They got ready at a hotel close to the golf course. Lexi had her friends and her mom helping her which was so special for her. One of the most important things about the wedding day for Lexi and Daniel was being able to celebrate with those who meant the most to them. It was super important for them to be able to show their families how much they loved each of them, too.
Pre-Ceremony
They didn’t have a first look because they wanted to keep everything traditional, so it was such a special moment for them when she walked down the aisle. Lexi did, however, have a first look with her dad and it was super emotional and so sweet to photograph. Before the ceremony, Lexi also gave out some gifts to her mom and dad.
The Ceremony
They had the ceremony and reception at the golf course. It was such a beautiful day! Lexi and Daniel have been together for a long time so their wedding was such a special day for them. They wrote their own vows to each other which were so sweet – they had everyone in tears!
The Reception
After the ceremony, we went out on the golf course for their “just married” photos. Then they had a cocktail hour and a reception. Their first dance song was “Kiss the Girl” from the movie The Little Mermaid – it was so cute! Lexi’s favorite Disney princess was Ariel because she has red hair, so it was such a fun way to incorporate the song into their first dance. This was such a sweet wedding and I loved being able to document this couple’s big day!
