I had the amazing opportunity to go to Maui, Hawaii for a Live Rooted workshop and capture this beautiful couples session! I worked with Morgan and Danielle to host this workshop and all the photos ended up being so cute! Kimy and Zane are actually professional surfers, so we incorporated a longboard as a prop for them which ended up being so great for the photos. It was so much fun shooting with this couple.
Hawaii is the perfect location couples session because it has a huge variety of tropical landscapes! There are waterfalls, beaches, mountains, awesome hiking spots, and so many other stunning places. We incorporated a longboard for this session, but there are tons of cute, “Hawaii vibes” props you could use like a surfboard or skateboard.
You don’t have to have an engagement or wedding to do a couples session, it can be just for fun! However, a destination elopement or wedding in Hawaii would also be so awesome!
